Westside Chiropractic Inc. (“we”, “us”) operates the clinic at 1401 Plains Road East, Unit 2, Burlington, Ontario and this website, westsidechiro.ca. We take your privacy seriously: as a health clinic, protecting personal information is part of our job. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect and why
When you contact us or book
When you call, email, or book an appointment, we collect your name, contact details, and whatever you choose to share about your reason for visiting. Online booking runs through Jane, our practice management system, and is subject to Jane’s privacy policy as well as ours.
When you receive care
Your practitioner collects the personal health information needed to assess and treat you safely: your health history, findings, treatment notes, and insurance details if we bill on your behalf. This is your health record. It is held securely in Jane, and it is protected by Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA). We share it only with people involved in your care, with your consent, or where the law requires it. Records are kept for the periods required by our regulatory colleges and Ontario law.
When you browse this website
With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages visited, general region, device type) so we can improve it. Analytics stays off until you accept it in the cookie banner, IP addresses are anonymized, and declining changes nothing about your experience. Some parts of the site load content from Google, such as the map and our Google reviews; those load from Google’s servers and are covered by Google’s own privacy policy.
Who we work with
A small number of trusted providers help us run the clinic and this site: Jane (appointments and health records), Google (analytics, maps, and reviews), our website host, and insurers when you ask us to direct-bill. Each sees only what it needs to do its job. We never sell personal information to anyone.
A note about email
Regular email is not a secure channel. Feel free to email us about appointments and general questions, but please share detailed health information by phone or in person instead.
Your rights and choices
- Ask to see or correct your health record at any time.
- Withdraw a consent you gave earlier, subject to legal and care requirements.
- Change your cookie choice whenever you like through the banner settings.
