Sometimes it is easier to start with what you are feeling than with which service you need. Below are some of the more common problems people come to see us about at our Burlington clinic, along with how we think about each one. If your situation is not listed here, that is completely fine, get in touch and we will help you figure out the right next step.
Common problems we help with
- Lower back pain: aches, stiffness, and the catches that come with bending, lifting, or sitting too long.
- Neck pain: desk and phone posture, stiffness, and tension that travels into the shoulders.
- Sciatica: pain, tingling, or numbness that travels from the low back down the leg.
- Headaches: tension and neck-related headaches, and how movement and hands-on care can help.
- Plantar fasciitis: heel and arch pain, especially in your first steps of the morning.
- Runner’s knee: pain around or behind the kneecap on runs, stairs, and after sitting.
- IT band syndrome: sharp pain on the outside of the knee, partway into a run.
- Shin splints: an ache along the inner shin when training ramps up quickly.
A few of these, runner’s knee, IT band syndrome, and shin splints, tend to show up in people who run. If running is your thing, our running injury care page covers how we work with runners in more detail.
We start by understanding your situation
Whatever brings you in, every plan starts the same way: a proper history and physical assessment, so we understand what is actually going on before we suggest anything. From there, care might involve chiropractic adjustments, massage therapy, medical acupuncture, exercise and rehab, or a combination, whatever fits what we find. You can see everything we offer on our services page, and our full price list on the fees and insurance page.
